Finance
to make recommendations to the Unit Executive in regard to financial policies and procedures for the Unit;
to assist the Unit Treasurer in preparing the budget;
to make recommendations regarding Unit levy(ies) and investments;
to meet four (4) times per year as follows:
September - to assist in preparing a balanced budget prior to the presentation to the Unit Executive and the Unit General Meeting;
October/November – to review the audited financial statements and make recommendations to the Executive;
January/February – to review the financial position of the Unit;
June – to review the past year and to outline plans and changes for the next financial year.
