12. Professional Development

1. to be aware of the professional development needs and interests of the members;

2. to recommend to the Unit Executive, a plan of the number of activities, topics, dates, and speakers for the year as required for OECTA- sponsored professional development;

3. to encourage involvement of teachers in the process of professional development at the local level;

4. to allocate funds for professional development as determined by criteria approved by the Unit Executive.
