Section 7 - Duties of the Committees


  1. Health and Safety

  1. to be informed of issues, trends and problems in the area of occupational health and safety;

  2. to inform members of all aspects pertaining to occupational health and safety in the workplace;

  3. to identify members’ needs and to advise the Association in matters pertaining to occupational health and safety that require action;

  4. to monitor health and safety standards according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations;

  5. to function in accordance with the collective agreement.
