If you would like to be added to the AIDE Voter's list, action is needed!
AIDE Voter’s List - To be eligible to vote for the AIDE Councilor position, the member needs to self-identify as belonging to a sovereignty-seeking or an equity-deserving group. For election purposes, a person who belongs to a sovereignty-seeking or an equity-deserving group would belong to one or more of the following: two-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, plus (2SLGBTQIA+), First Nations, Métis, Inuit, Black, racialized, and/or having a disability.
If you are eligible to vote for the AIDE Councilor position, please complete this FORM by May 1, 2025.
On behalf of the Election Committee, the only contested position is the Accessibility, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (AIDE) Councillor
and running for the position are:
Voting - Members of the Ottawa Catholic Teachers will be able to vote electronically in the Unit Election between noon on May 7th and noon on May 9, 2025. More details will follow closer to the election.
Speeches - Speeches will take place via a virtual meeting on Webex at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 29th. The speeches will also be posted under the Election tab at www.ottawacatholicteachers.ca. More details will follow closer to the election.
